Optimizing Polymer Plant Operations

Industry 4.0 meets Polymer Refining
The POMAC project focuses on refinery optimization and production scheduling for polymer plants. By combining in-process spectroscopy, plant-wide data acquisition, and Industrial IoT, it creates an integrated operational intelligence ecosystem.
Co-funded by the European Union through the POR FESR Liguria 2021-2027 program, the project aims to improve efficiency, reduce energy and waste, and strengthen resilience across polymer manufacturing value chains.
